Throw out the garbage
One of my cleaning rules is: Cleaning is the first step to cleaning. You can’t start cleaning car mats or washing doors if you’re trudging through a mountain of takeout bins and dirty tissues. Okay, that’s an exaggeration (I hope), but you still have to clean up first. Grab a paper bag and a trash can and get started!
This applies to bags, car seats, toys, blankets; Anything that you don’t clean and isn’t part of your car just gets in the way and prolongs the cleaning process.
Clean your car’s floor mats
Doormats are dark in color, so you usually don’t notice them when you get them dirty, but you literally step on them every day. Car mats are caked with all the dirt from your shoes and everything else that ends up in your car.
Take out all your doormats and you’ll see how dirty they are. The first thing you should do is give it a good shake to remove loose dirt and grime. Then take a clean tarp to lay on top. That way they don’t pollute the ground again.
A vacuum cleaner is ideal for vacuuming up more dirt before washing. Then rinse the carpets. At this point, your carpets should look pretty clean, but to do it properly, mix warm water and a splash of dish soap in a bucket. Scrub your carpets clean and hang them to dry before putting them back in the car.
How we tested them
To find our favorites, we bought a worn rug and added markers and makeup along with the usual ballpoint ink, butter and crushed chocolate. Each detergent was used according to the manufacturer’s instructions and made 10 passes.
We also assessed how much dirt was removed after reapplication and another 30 passes. Cross-contamination was avoided by using a separate wipe for each participant. The last factor was the price.

Once you’re done with your car mats, you can move on to the carpet. Take your vacuum cleaner and suck out all the dirt and dust. Don’t forget to vacuum in all corners and under the seats and pedals.
If your carpet has stains, it’s a good idea to identify the stain before treating it. Different stains respond to different cleaning solutions. You can make your own stain remover or use a store-bought stain remover.

Clean car windows to Car Upholstery Cleaner
Before you call me about the need to scrub your car mats, let me just say that cleaning car windows is easy by comparison. For most cleaning jobs, but especially for windows, a microfiber cloth is the best cloth.
Eliminate car odors
Following all of these steps to clean your car is an important part of eliminating car odors. But sometimes you need a little extra help to get rid of car smells. Just like cleaning your refrigerator, you can use baking soda to prevent and eliminate odors.
When your car is dry, sprinkle some baking soda on the carpet and cloth seats.
Your car should smell fresh and clean, ready to eat fries and spill coffee again.
Cleaning cars inside
Cleaning your car is a big job. Fortunately, you don’t have to do this very often. By keeping track of contaminants before they build up, you can avoid cleaning your car too often. Dispose of debris daily and spot treatment spots as soon as they appear. Nevertheless, I hope you know exactly what to do when you need to clean your car.
USE CAR UPHOLSTERY SHAMPOO
First vacuum the upholstery thoroughly. Use any number of household or car shampoo products, but make sure you have access to a wet/dry vacuum. They are often found in coin-operated car washes.
Using circular motions, work the foam into the upholstery with a brush. Use as little water as possible and be sure to rinse the foam completely from the upholstery before vacuuming with a wet/dry vacuum.
CARE AND PROTECTION OF LEATHER IN CARS
After cleaning leather car seats, you can lubricate them with a leather conditioner or leather conditioner to prevent drying and cracking. Again, make sure the product is specifically designed for leather.
Leather protectors typically provide protection against spills, stains and/or sun damage by containing UV blockers/inhibitors that prevent fading and premature aging.
CLEAN YOUR CAR’S LEATHER
When protecting leather car seats, it’s important to know how to keep them free of dust and lint to maintain the look of a new car. Because dust and dirt get stuck in the folds, the leather can look rough.
To clean leather, use saddle soap or another cleaning product specifically for leather. Do not use an all-purpose cleaner on leather.
You can also use the leather cleaner to treat stains. See the product label for more information. Stains and scratches can sometimes be removed with an eraser, especially on lighter leather.
Cleans, cares for and protects leather car seats
Best leather care and protection products in Australia. Most imitations of high-quality leather, vinyl or PU leather also have a protective finish. A protective layer, also called “top coat”, covers the paint and contains waxes and additives. This top coat not only gives the surface a smooth feel, but also prevents scratches, scuffs, cracks and squeaks.

Aged leather requires oiling and conditioning to maintain softness and prevent fading and long-term shrinkage of the leather. After about 3 years, the leather fibers begin to lose moisture.See more
